Hi all -
As we enter this beautiful Fall season, we thought we would try something new and Blog about our simple, or not so simple lives. Hadley is quickly approaching her third birthday and is more than happy to tell you about it. That is when she is not parading around as a princess or "dancing with the stars". Her most recent big adventure was being a flower girl in Dan's cousin Julie's wedding. There she was a "true princess". Now that the Halloween season is fast approaching we cannot seem to get her out of the ratty- not so white hand me down Ariel dress. We do have a cute tiger costume, but it looks like she is not budging. We will let Penn and her kids take all of the "cute" kid credit. The big moment has come along the potty training trail. Recently Hadley decided that she did not want to wear pull-ups to bed anymore. So, two nights of perfection and waking Dan up to go potty and then two nights of waking up and just sleeping in our bed and peeing on Dad and we finally think we got it. She is growing up so fast. The other day she told Dan to back off the pool wall so she could dive to the bottom of the pool. So Dan backed off and Hadley dove to the bottom of the pool. Dan likes to call these teachable moments. She wasn't paying attention to his lesson as she continued to show no fear. Hadley is growing up quick and already acting like a teenager sneaking candy and sips of Dr. Pepper but she is a lot of fun and every day she brings a new exciting adventure of her Being Dora, Daddy being Diego Mommy being cousin Elisia, Sebastian being Boots and Peyton of course is Swiper.
Dan is enjoying a fall break this week, but is anticipating getting pretty busy with basketball season right around the corner. He has also decided to coach baseball this year and is attending school himself to become an administrator.
I am still working as a fitness coordinator and teaching some classes at Metro State.
We have attached several pictures for you all to enjoy.
p.s. If you look closely we have included our latest secret!
Much Love!

Hello Simingtons,
First and foremost... Congratulations! Your very subtle announcement is pretty exciting! Your parents couldn't wait to share the wonderful news when we first met up with them in Rome! We didn't get to read your blog till after we got back from the cruise. Hadley must be quite excited at the prospect of a new sibling! We miss not being able to watch her grow up into this beautiful little princess. Nana and Papa couldn't stop raving about her and all the precious little things that she says and does!
A Blog is a perfect way of keeping everyone up to date... such a great idea... that you got me blogging too... while being a proud follower of yours!
It would have been fun cruising with you guys... and Hadley's Godmother too!!
Take care and keep the pictures coming!
Love,
Aunt Marie :)
